Medcare Media provides solutions to improve patient treatment outcomes through the use of dedicated monitoring software, specifically designed and supported by SADFM (South African Database for Functional Medicine) for this purpose.
Who We Are
Medcare Media is focussed on providing healthcare software to healthcare facilities, clinical staff and individuals alike, and one of its key missions are to contribute to the development of nursing and care services in South Africa. To achieve this, Medcare Media makes use of leading nursing measures on patient outcomes and these measures provide standardised data on patient improvement or decline.
Software
Medcare Media makes use of technology solutions designed by SADFM to monitor and improve patient treatment outcomes in a variety of clinical and nursing care environments. This includes care, nursing and rehab services throughout a variety of environments, including Case Management, Hospitals, Clinics, Sub acute care, Homecare, Rehab care, Social work, Medical practitioners, and Psychology.
The data collected from the patient scores measures function and is used in statistical analyses and fed back to our customers to assist them to improve patient outcomes and further develop care plans.

REAL-TIME REPORTING
Our customers are provided with a software application login for their mobile phone/android/apple tablet or with a desktop login to enter the patient data and, if needed, the nursing and multi-disciplinary team’s progress reports.
The software is also designed to generate real-time performance reports on nursing effectiveness and efficiency based on patient outcomes. This monitoring software greatly assists in evolving nursing, rehab and care services from an input based approach to a more patient-outcomes focussed approach.
